Merry Chritney!

Yeah, I don't know where that came from, but Tanner and his dad love saying Merry Chritney, Fullmer men are unique. :) Christmas was wonderful! We went to the annual Fullmer Christmas Eve party, where we decided to add some Christmas spirit:

Tanner's is from the women's section at the DI; luckily for me, my mom has saved her entire 80s-90s wardrobe, so the sweater and bow are courtesy of her. The party was great, we ate lots of food, then the kids acted out the nativity while cousin Adam read the Christmas story from the scriptures. Grandma and Grandpa Fullmer did their reading, they alternate between the story of the Savior's birth and his death. After that, we sing the "12 Days of Christmas," which Fullmer style, is a little violent. There are actions with each day, and with the seven swans a swimming or the lords'o'leaping, it becomes a giant mosh pit in Grandma's basement.

Uncle Tanner and Aunt Nina with Noelle

The cutest niece ever!

Christmas Day was even better. We opened our presents together then headed to Tanner's parents. While there we got to talk to Aly, but we only got 2 and a half minutes a piece, so of course it wasn't long enough, but it made me so happy I cried. She comes home in less than 6 months, yay! Then we went to dinner with my mom and brothers, my brother brought his girlfriend, it was fun to meet her, she's really cute. Then we spent some time at my dad's, it was all so fun! We got totally spoiled by everyone, some things we got were: a hard drive to back up our files, a leopard print snuggie, Tanner got church pants so he won't have to wear his mission ones anymore, our favorite books, and a cricut!! The best part about Christmas though was spending time with family, it was a great one, and the fourth one Tanner and I have been together for. Only a few months till Tanner will be counting down to the next one!

Can You Believe It?

It's finally here-I graduate nursing school Wednesday. Nope. Not next Wednesday. Wednesday as in two days from today. Yep. I'm a little bit in shock that it's really happening. This time next month I'll be working as a nurse! I'm not quite sure I believe it myself yet. Well, one final today and last one tomorrow and it's over! I feel so blessed. Tanner and I were talking about it the other day, that getting into nursing school really changed our lives; it put an end in sight for my school and enabled me to do something I really love. It's been hard, but more than anything it has been such a tremendous blessing and I'm so grateful to my Heavenly Father, I know his hand is in all things. We just feel like life couldn't get much better than this. Can I say it again? We are so blessed!!

You know you're a redneck when....

You grow a mustache like this:

For Thanksgiving, Tanner's Elder's Quorum decided to grow a 'Thanksgiving Mustache,' to remind them how thankful they were to be men. It was hilarious. He got teased bigtime at the family Thanksgiving, especially since he wore that hat. He was about to shave it when he took this makes-him-look-way-creepy picture, which apparently calls for being shirtless. Though he looked like he belonged in a trailer park, I was proud of him for doing it and still thought he was red smokin' hot! Love you Tanner!

Light at the end of the tunnel and good news!

December 9th. Yes people, this is the day we've been waiting for: my graduation!! I am so excited, but nervous about how fast it's come up. Last week I finished my clinical, forever! It was a wonderful experience, but I was ready to be done. I'm pretty sure I will cry at graduation, it's been really hard, but I really did, I'm finishing nursing school!

Well, almost.

The RN program is only an associate's degree (I know what you're thinking, all that work and 5 years of school for an associates??? Yeah, I thought the same thing). So I applied to the RN to BSN program starting in January and I found out yesterday I got in!! I'm so excited believe it or not, I want to bust through the rest of school and be DONE. It's online so I'll still be able to work as a wicked sweet nurse at the same time. You're probably wondering why I'm telling you I got in, but it's so exciting for us because it's actually really competitive, so I'm really happy and feel really blessed I got in. So, by May of 2011, 6 years after I first enrolled in college, I will have my bachelor's degree!! haha I kind of feel like Tommy Boy when he tries to defend to another guy how long he's been at college,

"Lots of people go to college for seven years!"
"Yeah, they're called doctors."

:) Classic.

A little extra practice never hurts....

This morning I was getting ready and Tanner needed the bathroom to take a shower. So I grab my make up and head to the bedroom 'cause we have a full length mirror on the back of our door. As I'm putting on my mascara, I realize a few inches up there are smudges on the mirror. Wait....not smudges. Lip prints. I just started laughing. I don't know what Tanner was doing, but I hope he had fun. To make it up to him for posting this embarrassing story, I will add that the practice has paid off, my hubs is an amazing kisser!! Love you!

Grandma Barrow

My grandma is here in town and I got to spend most of yesterday with her. I just feel I need to write this so I can have it recorded and let everyone know how amazing my grandma is. You may think you have an awesome grandma, and I'm sure she's great, but I think my grandma is the greatest. In fact, she is the most amazing person I know. I can talk to her about just about anything (except 'toots', she doesn't approve of talking about that). Also, she's the cutest grandma ever. She has the best giggle and is so fun to laugh with.

Her example is the reason I investigated the church when I was 14. She is so loving and Christlike, you can't meet her and not love her. Her faith is amazing and is still such an example to me. She has 10 children and who knows how many grandchildren and she remembers every single birthday. She makes cards, sews dresses, blankets, anything you could imagine, is an awesome cook, and still finds time to be downright amazing. She also has a very impressive collection of ballet flats. :) She'll never admit it, but she really is great. I'm so grateful to have her in my life, she is my 'stepmom's' mom, but I know we were meant to be family. She lives in New Mexico, I wish I could see her more often, but every time I do get to see her, I'm reminded of how much I love her and how blessed I am to have her in my life.

Sweet Dreams

The night before last I dreamed we had a beautiful baby girl. But I had to have a C section, so they took her away until I recovered, which apparently took two days. When I finally got to hold my precious little girl, she already had a head of blond hair, big blue eyes, and could already sit up. Yep, we're gonna have very advanced infants. She looked quite similar to my "niece" Ainsley. Tanner was so cute with her though, I can still see it in my mind of him holding her. It was random, but I woke up so happy and so excited for us to have a baby. Come on graduation, hurry up and get here!!

Also, here are some of Tanner's dream quotes as of late:

He went to bed without me 'cause I had to finish homework. 30 minutes later, he runs out of the room into the bathroom and opens the bathroom window exclaiming, "It's so hot, and Snickers isn't handling it very well!" Then went to bed.

"Would you like me to go over your proposition? Because I'm very good with numbers." This one was really funny 'cause he said it in a very 'suggestive' voice. haha

"That's smart, you know, working on your smooth." Umm..thanks Tanner. I love him.

Witches Night '09

This year me and the gals from school went to Witches Night at Gardner Village. It was so much fun, between us chasing Ashley and her sister Laura cause they were speedwalking and our freakin awesome dancing, it was a blast! The shops are so fun and I won a free tablerunner, woot woot! They still have it Friday and Saturday nights for the rest of this month, get some girls and go!

Christie doing the Macarena
Rockin the Macarena. Above this Rachel is doing the most amazing Robot I've ever seen.
Don't know why I'm making this face.
Me and Rach.
Ash and her sister Laura, they look like twins, but Ash is 7 years older. Weird.
It's hard to see in the picture, but the guy modeling this wig was hilarious, it was a "Ladies Man Wig"
Rach and Ash, we went to Savers to look for costumes
Ashley being ghetto fabulous

All of us, except Nicole, she had to work, lame.

I don't know why I feel the need to pretend to lick things in pictures, it's just a weird impulse I have.
All of us!

Spiritually Uplifted

I was reading my friend Cindy's blog and she had posted this quote saying it was just what she needed. I felt the exact same way, so I'm copying it to mine as well to share, thanks Cindy! It made me feel so grateful for what I have and inspired me to be better and to remember the Lord offers us happiness and we'll find it in Him when things are tough.

"Perform your duties in spite of difficulties. Do not falter; continue to do your duty, whatever it may be, whether pleasing or displeasing; be the servants and handmaidens of God to the very utmost. In the past His blessings have been upon us just so far as we have served Him in faithfulness; they will be so in the future. There is no occasion for any man who has the manifestation of the Lord in this line to be discouraged. When our surroundings are not so agreeable as might be wished, think how much worse they might be. Be contented with our conditions. Improve them when opportunity arises, but do not worry about them." --President Lorenzo Snow

Swine Flu Vaccine

A lot of rumors have been flying around about the H1N1 vaccine coming out. Working in a hospital, I got an email saying I was required to get it. I was nervous about being a guinea pig, and couldn't decide if I really wanted to get it. Then I heard all the things people are saying about it, even some girls at school saying that the vaccine was made with cancer cells and were worried it was going to give us all cancer. So, amid all the craziness, I decided instead of listening to what everyone else had heard, I'd look up more info about it myself. Here are some things I found:

-The vaccine is NOT made with cancer cells, it is made the exact same way as the seasonal flu vaccine. There is a dead virus vaccine-the shot, or live virus-which is the nasal spray. The live virus does not mean you will get the swine flu, they have crippled the virus so it can no longer cause the disease, but your body can build antibodies to it.

-The similar strain of H1N1 in the 70's did have a vaccine that caused Guillan Barre, but this vaccine does not. In fact, an MSN health article I found said that getting swine flu now can cause Guillan Barre. They have worked that out with the new vaccine.

-There are side effects, just like the seasonal flu vaccine, such as headache, fever, runny nose, sore throat, etc. But the side effects are no where near as dangerous as getting the swine flu.

-If you're worried about thimerosal (preservative used that contains a small amount of mercury), the shot does have it, but in a very small amount that can't cause any harm. The nasal spray doesn't have thimerosal.

I got the nasal spray last week and other than a bit of a runny nose, I haven't had any problems. The swine flu is most dangerous to pregnant women and young people, healthy or with other health problems. I don't judge people for not getting it, but I think people should be better informed about it. Since I have friends that are pregnant and young siblings and nieces, I got my vaccine because I don't want to risk exposing them to swine flu since my floor at work takes care of those patients. But I suggest reading up on it yourself, The CDC website is the best place to look, also MSN health answers a lot of questions.

Sad Story

I ordered my coat, the toggley one, and I've been so excited. I ordered on our desktop, which has a darker than normal screen. So on my desktop it looked red. But now I looked at it on this computer and another, and it definitely looks pink. The order called the color Cranberry! Cranberries aren't pink! I feel so deceived. Well, we'll see how it looks when it gets here.

Almost there...

This week I started my precepting, which is where I pick the type of floor I want to work with, get buddied up with a nurse, and work their schedule for 135 hours. I get to be a lot more independent and try out how I want to do nursing when I'm on my own someday. I have to say, I love it! I really love nursing and I'm so excited to finally be an RN. Nursing is so different from what people think, even I didn't know what I was getting into when I started nursing school. The most intimidating part is there is so much responsibility. Not just with giving meds, but remembering to get everything done, patient care, making sure the patient is stable and noticing any changes, making sure the cna gets everything done, carrying out new orders the doctor writes, the list goes on and on. And I'll be accountable for all of it. Legally. But I just feel it, that I'm meant to be a nurse, despite my fears, I know this is what I want to do. It's such a unique profession, where you get to be part of peoples' lives, helping them when they need someone who's caring. Of course you get the crazy patients and mean ones, but that's why nurses have such a good sense of humor I think. Knowing I'll be done in less than two months has just made me think about how far I've come to get here and reaffirmed for me that this is what I want to do. Also, it feels like we'll be able to start a new part of our lives, and we can start our family after I'm done, it's made me think about a lot of things. I can't believe I've lived through nursing school and it's already almost over, but I'm so grateful and feel so blessed to be where I'm at right now. This is more of a journal entry, but I want to remember how I felt later on.

Birthday Boy

Yeps, today is Tanner's birthday!! He turned the big 2-4! My hubs is getting old, but I love him more than ever!! :) I just want to be cheesy for a bit and write some of the wonderful things I love about him:

-The way he says he knew he was going to marry me from the first time we met...awww.
-The way he makes me lie down and cuddle with him when he knows I've had a rough day.
-He can always make me laugh.
-He knows how to 'shake that thang.'
-How excited he is to be a dad (nope, not announcing anything, just when the time comes)
-He is honestly the smartest person I know, I don't know how he does his school, it's amazing.
-He's so spiritual and is always inspiring me to be better.
-How cute and funny he is when he talks in his sleep. I know many others like this too. :)
-We can talk about anything.
-He's my best friend and I love him so much!

I know that was sappy, but happy birthday Tanner! I love you!

Thoughts for the day

-I love that it is fall! I for one am always cold, but I still love bundling up, cuddling, going up to see the leaves change, all of it!!

-We're so blessed, it's easier sometimes to focus on what we don't have, but writing it down and thinking about it reminds me of how much we do have and how blessed we are.

-I'm sad because our camera may have officially died. It only turns on when it feels like it and then it will take maybe 3 pictures. That's why we haven't really posted any. That's one big thing on the list of stuff to buy when we have money (Marci, I already told Tanner we're saving up, 'cause I want a Nikon too! :) ).

-I'm so excited to have kids, we've got them all named, we're planning on having 5 or 6, 3 girls and 2 or 3 boys. haha When we drive somewhere Tanner will randomly say "You two stop it back there, don't make me pull this car over," and call them by the names we've picked out for our first two. It's so cute, one day he said he feels like they're already ours, these 5 kids (we only have 5 names that we absolutely love).

-I really wish we could buy a dog, a great dane to be exact. My friend's mom says it's just cause I want a baby, which I do, but I think it's also that I just love dogs.

-I love Tanner more than ever, he's my favorite.

-I enjoy knowing what's going on in the world, but sometimes the news can be so negative.

-I'm super excited because little Noelle is sleeping over Thursday, she's my other favorite.

-I can't wait to go skiing with my new skis!

-Conference was amazing! I love what Elder Holland said about the Book of Mormon being true, it was so powerful. Thanks Nick and Tess for giving us tickets, we're so lucky to have you guys!

-I'm grateful to be healthy, especially mentally. I had a clinical on a psych unit and that would be so hard, especially to be schizophrenic, it's really sad.

-I love my Grandma Barrow, she's one of the most amazing people I know, I wish I could see her more often.

Which one??

For Christmas Tanner is letting me get a new winter coat. These are my two favorites, I really want a red one. I think I'm leaning towards the dress one on the bottom 'cause it's longer and will be warmer, but I love the toggles on the top one. Help me decide!!

The ultimate symbol of liberty and freedom....

Yes, that is what the commercial said. If you enjoy liberty and freedom and love your country, you know what you must do: buy an Obama Chia. I could not stop laughing when I saw this commercial. I thought it was a joke, like a SNL skit or something, but nope, these little guys are actually out there. I couldn't help but think, maybe I'm being silly, but is that really appropriate?
What made me laugh even more, was when I realized there are people out there buying them and these are what their purchases got them. This person must have not realized she bought the 'Long-haired with Male Pattern Baldness Obama.'

I don't know if this one looks like he's had his head out the car window or has just been electrocuted.

Need I say more? Be sure to get on the phone and order yours today!

"Optimum" Bowel Function

So, yesterday I did the shopping and at Costco I've been seeing this organic cereal that I've been wanting to try. It's called "Optimum" and it's blueberry cinnamon flavored, mmm. It's got bran, flax seed, low carbs, and 1/3 of your daily fiber, good stuff, right? Finally I gave in and bought it. I came home and had a bowl for lunch. That's all I had for lunch. Hours later, I went to the Womens Conference (which by the way, was amazing! As horrible as it is to admit, I didn't go expecting it to be amazing, but it was! I left feeling so good and so motivated!) with my mom at my old home ward. Right as it's ending, I'm feeling rather..bloated. So I'm glad it's over. But as I'm leaving, people that I haven't seen in forever start coming up to me. It hit me so fast, I really don't know what happened. But I wanted to talk to them and kept telling myself it would be okay. As I'm walking with an old young women's leader, one just rips out of me, uncontrollably. I just talked louder, praying she didn't hear. I wait... she didn't notice, woo hoo! Disaster averted. Then we stop and turn around, and her husband is right behind us!! You have no idea how hard it was to fight the urge to laugh as he looked at me uncomfortably. I left soon after and let's just say I hit the lou asap. I'm pretty sure 1/3 of your daily fiber is enough to be 2 days worth of fiber.

For those of you grossed out by bodily function stuff, I'm sorry if this was too personal. Working in healthcare makes you pretty open about it and makes you think it's funny.

TV Fast

The week before school started this semester, Tanner decided he wasn't being productive enough, and the tv was mostly to blame. So, I arrived home to find the tv gone and shoved in our bedroom closet. On our family board was a calendar for a three week tv fast. It went pretty well, we did get it out to watch two movies, but it's amazing how much more time you have. And I really don't miss all the crappy tv I used to watch just because it was on. I know there are good shows out there, but the world still goes on if I don't watch them (except I did cave and watch The Office premier on Hulu, I love that show!). It worked out so well, the tv is still in our closet. I love having so much more time and the extra time with Tanner. Huzzah for tv free life!*

*This post is not meant to bash on tv watchers, I am one myself, just journaling about our own experience without it.

Just hear those sleigh bells ring-a-ling.....

At the beginning of July, Tanner one day yelled out excitedly, "It's almost Christmas!!!!" He's been saying it ever since, and won't stop talking about it. Every time we go to my parent's house, he asks my little sisters, "aren't you excited for Christmas?" I married the man whose family gave him the nickname 'Christmas Boy.' It's quite contagious really, and his unbridled enthusiasm has finally rubbed off on me. The other day, I found myself singing Christmas carols in the car on my way to clinical. I love Christmas! The lights at temple square, the snow on the mountains, drinking hot chocolate and snuggling, being with family and loved ones, watching 'It's a Wonderful Life,' and remembering the Savior and feeling the Spirit everywhere you go. Despite the stress of driving in the snow and Christmas shopping, it really is a wonderful time of the year. Aren't you excited too??

This is the face Tanner makes when he talks about Christmas almost being here..he's such a cute hubs. I can't wait till we have wee lil' ones.

Cheap Cleaning

A few months ago, our ward had a lesson on money saving tips. One of them was to save money on cleaning supplies by using cleaning 'recipes' instead. Needless to say, I was definitely skeptical that they would really leave our house clean. But as our cleaning supplies were running low, I decided, what the heck, I'll try it. I have to say: it works! The main one I really use is vinegar and baking soda diluted in water, I've been using it for months now and haven't had to buy any counter or floor cleaners. They're my favorite in the kitchen because they actually clean old food off the floors and counters better than the clorox stuff I used to use. They don't leave me coughing and gagging if I accidentally inhale near it, and it really doesn't make the house smell like vinegar either. If it does, it's very faint, and fades away fast. And best of all, they're so cheap!! Probably not so exciting for most people, but we're poor so I found this exciting and thought I'd share the wealth!

It's soooo hot

Our apartment is roasting today. As I sat on the couch in front of the fan, I wondered: Why did Heavenly Father have to make me so that I get so sweaty when it's hot? And then I remember. It's so I don't overheat and pass out or die. Also, it makes me cooler, with the unfortunate side effect of stinkiness, but worth it nonetheless. So, today I found a reason to be grateful for being sweaty. Next time you're roasting hot, be grateful for those sweat glands.

Funny Tanner

That man is always making me laugh. For some reason when he gets frustrated with me, he calls me by what he considers my full name: Christina Nina Jayne Embreus O'Driscoll Fullmer. Embreus is my maiden name, but O'Driscoll is his mom's maiden name. I told him that's gross because if that were really part of my name we'd be related, but he still does it. Whenever he says it I can't help but laugh.

Tanner started reading his books for school a week early, so a few nights ago, Tanner was dreaming about nodes (don't ask me what they are) and a fire suit that could create them. He woke up and thought it was such a brilliant idea he got up in the middle of the night and drew a diagram and wrote it down. In the morning he described it all to me and showed me the picture. I asked him if that really works or makes any sense and he said "No idea." I'm still impressed.

Also, one night, I wake up because Tanner is mumbling in his sleep. I open my eyes and see Tanner is facing me with eyes closed, but his hand is lifted about a foot over my head. I ask what he's doing and he replies, "I'd slap you both, but I don't want everyone to hear the pain." So, fearfully, I waited for the aforementioned slap. Thankfully, Tanner won over his dark side and simply put his hand down and was asleep. When I told him about it in the morning, we both couldn't stop laughing.

The Lighthouse on Honfleur

I don't know what that lighthouse is, but it auto-typed it in for me as I was writing something else, and I thought random, but obviously it is meant to be the title of this post. I don't want to mess with fate here. I have been on break for three glorious weeks and have been a terrible blogger. I go back to school Thursday, ahhh the joy and the pain, but last semester, woo hoo! Tanner goes back tomorrow, sad. We didn't get to go anywhere cool, but it has been awesome! We've played tennis, and went to a wedding that had dancing, I know I mention dancing a LOT, but I really like it, in case you can't tell. I really cut a rug I must say. Also, danced with Tanner and had a dance party with my little sisters, shweet! Got together with friends we haven't seen in a while, spent some quality time with hubs, life just doesn't get much better.

Have you ever noticed just how much there is to be grateful for in life? We all have our struggles, but if you really look for it, most of life is filled with the sunny good stuff, aka blessings. It's been good to reflect on how blessed I am and we are together and I just felt the wonderful feeling that life is good and if we just do what we need to things will work out. So here's to the start of a wonderful new semester and finishing nursing school feeling good! Also, our apartment is the cleanest it's been, probably, ever. Not a single moldy dish. Not one. Life is good.

Last, but not least, I googled this lighthouse of destiny-there you have it.

Little Breaky Break

Sorry, we haven't been taking any pictures, but Tanner had his last final Thursday and we are officially on break together!! Two glorious weeks lie ahead, and we couldn't be more thrilled. The cuddles, the dancing, and playing tennis, all pretty fan-freakin-tastic. Spending time with your spouse is wonderful, I tell you what.

Thinking...

-About my finals tomorrow and Tuesday and how I just want them to be over and I will be so happy.
-About all the fun and productive things I'll do over my break, like scrapbook, exercise, spend time with hubs, and not reading nursing textbooks.
-This zit in my nostril is painful.

-That I want to snuggle with Noelle and that she is the cutest little girl I've ever seen and I want one just like her!

-How funny it is that going to school for the healthcare field can leave you soooo out of shape.

-I'm done with nursing school in 4 months and 2 weeks. Not that I'm counting.

-I want to go to Seattle on vacation. Never been, but I've heard it's beautiful.

-That I miss Aly and how much fun we have together. She hits the nine month mark on her mission next month. And her bday is Wednesday.

-How much I love, love, love my hubs, even if he does look kinda like a stalker in this picture, but a hot one.

-Why isn't there more occasion for dancing? Honestly!? Adults like to dance too! It shouldn't be just for high school! Yes,, this is the C-walk. I love to dance. Tanner and I do it almost everyday. If you want to dance, come on over.

-I want to have a baby. When we have one someday, that will be neat.

-I want to be more positive, like my mother-in-law. She is constantly giggling and happy.

-I miss my brothers and sisters, I haven't seen them in a while. They're super cool.

-I want to go fishing, I love to fish. And I love to eat them.

That's all.

The goings on..

Tanner grew a beard just to see if he could, it was a pretty nice beard. This is the day he shaved it. He asked if I thought he should keep the goatee. Don't you worry, he shaved it off.

This little cutie is Kelsen. Our good friends Mike and Bre moved in right next to us and I got to babysit this cute little guy for a few hours.

He smiles all the time!

This is my favorite baby girl, Noelle. Poor thing had to get a helmet yesterday, but she still looks as cute as ever!! When I got there she just talked like crazy, I'm pretty sure she was venting to me about what a rough day she'd had.

Poor Tanner was just sitting at the computer in this chair when it literally broke to pieces. I don't know why, but it was hilarious! One day I'll take the time to upload more pictures and blog better, but I'm afraid today is not that day.

More Dreamy Quotes....

There are too many to remember them all, but here are some as of late:

I said goodbye as I left for school and Tanner reached out of the bed and said "Look at this shell of a man." Pretty deep, eh?

As I said goodbye another morning, "I love you. Don't forget the antimatter dip."

"Don't forget to count all the slashes. Otherwise we won't know when to eat."

Last night he woke me up in the middle of the night to tell me, "it's weird, huh, this whole homeostasis thing."

Probably the funniest one ever. Lying in bed asleep, Tanner jumps out of bed yelling "They're everywhere!" "What's everywhere??!!" "The BUGS! The BUGS!" "What bugs??" "The bugs on the log. On the log that Lindsey gave us!!" (Lindsey is his older sister..) "Turn on the light Tanner." He turns it on. "See? No bugs." His eyes are still partially closed, but he rubs his hands over the bed repeating "ok, ok, ok. " "Ok Tanner, turn off the light and go back to sleep." He turns the light off and after he lies down "beep boop bee boo beeeeeeeeeep." And he's asleep. My husband is a cyborg.

Argh...

Don't you hate when you realize that the only pair of underwear you have left has a HUGE hole right in the back? Yeah, me too. Guess I'm off to do some laundry.

Anniversary Trip and Other Events

For our anniversary this year we decided to head to Vegas-I've never really wanted to go, but my uncle was having his wedding there the week of our anniversary, so it worked out perfectly and the Fullmers headed out on their first real road trip together.

Tanner won his dollar back that he put in and an extra quarter on top of that. I made him quit while he was ahead. He was pretty proud he "beat Vegas" as he put it. And he was excited to be able to say he's gambled. (shaking my head in shame)

Tanner couldn't hold it and we were a ways away from a bathroom. I know most people think this is gross, but I mostly thought it was hilarious.

I love you Tanner!
Sadly, I didn't realize my recommend had expired 6 days before the wedding, so I had to wait outside, and after a short cry and pity party, I took some pictures around the beautiful Vegas temple.

The Barrow Family
Mike and Liz coming out of the temple. She looked absolutely gorgeous and they looked so happy, I love weddings! We were so glad we went, it was so fun to see family and get to meet Liz, she's awesome! it's funny that she's my aunt and we're the same age!

On our way home, right outside St. George we heard a loud noise and then our car swerved, our new tire we bought 2 months ago blew! I guess we ran over something, but as you can see from the fact that it's shredded all the way around, we were just grateful everyone was ok.
Since it was Sunday, we were stranded an extra night and stayed in St. George. Our bathroom had a tanning light in there too! Tanner turned it on everytime he went to the bathroom, it was so funny. That's the timer on the right.

Tanner would kill me if he saw this, but I'm counting on the fact that he doesn't look at this very often. This was the night we went and saw Wolverine. I think it's a tribute to his awesomeness and the fact that I married the funnest guy ever.
