Only 7 days left!!

Exactly one week from today, Aly will be home. For those of you who don't know, Aly and I have been best friends since high school. She set me up with her brother on a blind date, he and I got married, and now Aly and I are sisters. It's fabulous. And she has been on a mission in Madrid for 18 months and now she is coming home!! I have missed her so much, I can't describe how excited I am. Instead, I am going to post pictures to show how awesome she really is.

I really can't wait!!

Sunday Sweetness

Church yesterday was wonderful. And I only got to go to sacrament. I prayed when I woke up that the Lord would help me overcome my shortcomings. I have been having the hardest time getting in my scripture study lately and I don't know why. Then I went to church, and the talks were all about the scriptures. The last one especially touched me, it was about the Book of Mormon. How it can shape our lives and help us become our best.
Then our home teachers came and asked us about an experience where the Lord revealed something to us. And I told about my conversion and all of those feelings came back to me, the Spirit was telling me it was true. The Book of Mormon has changed my life. I love it and am a better person because of it. Then I realized that all these feelings I'd been having all day and feeling the Spirit so strongly were the answer to my prayer. The Lord gave me a witness because I asked. Anytime we sincerely go to the Lord, He is there. He will always listen, it's just that sometimes I don't do the asking. I'm so grateful that the Lord is mindful of each and every one of us. I love the gospel and I love my Savior, I'm so thankful for his love for me.

Have a seat

The Fullmers bought their first piece of new real furniture: a brand spankin' new couch! It was exciting for us. It was also our first day at the dump, which I found to be surprisingly organized. Here's hot Mr. Tanner working it and sending off our old couch.

R.I.P.

We're finally rid of them! This is Tanner's happy face.

So embarrassing, we put this in the truck to take to the dump and our neighbor pulls up and see our nasty under the couch stain. It was actually Tide detergent, we left the bottle on the couch for a few days and picked it up to find it nearly empty and leaking through the entire couch!

The carnage left behind after we got the old couches out. I have never laughed so hard or heard Tanner say so many swear words than when we were trying to get those couches out. First, we tried the door. But after successfully wedging the cough in place three different times, we gave up on that approach and used the window. I was seriously afraid the couch was going to go over the rail and injure some innocent passerby, but thankfully, that crisis was averted. While we were taking the couches across the grass, my arms literally gave out. Gave. Out. They had been lifting furniture all day and refused to do more, no matter how much I begged. They wouldn't grip anything! Try as I might, I had no control, they were useless, floppy fish, hanging pathetically at my sides. I thought Tanner was going to have a nervous breakdown, but thankfully, a kind neighbor saved us and helped him with the couch. The second highest number of swears I have heard Tanner say was when we were trying to get the new couches in.

Here they are, voila! We love them and they don't have cat hair embedded in them and they aren't older than I am, like our old ones. Yay!

Tanner knows we're moving next month, but he says we're not allowed to talk about it.

Erm.

Sorry I'm so stinky at posting, our computer is too slow at uploading pictures and I'm too lazy to be patient enough for them to load. But I'm still suffering from five-semesters-straight-of-full-time-school-burnout. But guess what? Today was my last day of the semester, summer break woot woot!!

After a little recovery time, I will be better about blogging. I will tell you the story of how we got new couches, even if it was last month, it was a good one.

I forgot to mention, we are moving into apt 332, so we are staying in the ward! Yay!

I'm going to start sticking to a budget again and I'm going to become a coupon cutter. Tanner doesn't believe me, but I am. I just got my Sunday paper subscription. I'll show him.

I got to watch this little munchkin (Kaylee) today for a couple hours, she is adorable. I can't believe she is only two months old! And she smells delicious, I love new baby smell.

Netflix, best and worst thing ever

We gave in about a month ago and got a Netflix membership. I will tell you, it is a love/hate relationship. You can get your movies in about two business days from when you order. Lots of movies and sitcoms are available right online. We definitely get our money('?)s worth out of it. But that is also the thing I hate about it. All previous seasons of The Office are online. So in my spare time, I have started watching them. But I can't watch just one when I can watch the next with just the click of a button!!?? Blast! I waste so much time on Netflix, yet I can't stop. I have put myself on a limit of how much I can watch of anything in a week because this is just getting ridiculous.

In other news, we woke up to three inches of snow outside, happy spring! I'm so ready for spring to really be here, but I don't know why I act surprised, I have lived in Utah my whole life, it's always like this.

Tanner is studying like a fiend for his MCAT.

We got approved for a two bedroom, we move in at the end of May. I am excited. Very, very excited.

Eating six small meals a day isn't as easy as it sounds. It's kind of a hassle really and I feel like I'm always eating, even if it is in small amounts.

I'm going to be lots better at blogging this month. We got a new couch, it was exciting and hilarious, I will post about it soon.

Tanner is singing to me at this moment and making me feel weird inside. I still love him, but it's true. Now he's dancing too, I wish I had my camera. Now I'm off to make some cards with my mother-in-law and sisters.
