Oh So Exciting

So, thanks to the Wonderful Warner Family (really, THANKS!), we now have carpet!! Woo Hoo! Most people say in disbelief, "you guys don't have carpet?!" And before Friday we would have had to answer with a lame "nope." But hey hey hey, now we can say, "psych! of course we have carpet, we were just pullin' your chain-like rope." I'm so excited to not have dirty feet anymore just from walking around my own apartment! *Sigh.*

ER Clinical

I had my first ER clinical yesterday. It was awesome!! I got to start some IVs, draw some blood, see lots of other things, and scariest of all: I had to do CPR. Wow, I never realized how freakin' hard it is to do it. I only did it for about 3 minutes, but when you're pumping on someone's chest hard enough that to get a heart beating-think about how deep your heart is in your chest, you literally break a few ribs to get deep enough- you get worn out fast. And you have to do it 100 times per minutes. I'm not trying to sound like I'm the shiz or anything like that, it was just a really cool experience. Maybe I want to be an ER nurse, we'll see!

Close Call

I've told this story to a couple people, but I just thought it was too funny not to share. It does involve urine, viewer discretion is advised. Sorry if it's bad, nursing makes you think pee is just funny.

So I switched birth control last month, and Tanner was absolutely convinced it was a mistake and in 9 months he'd be saying I told you so. So, we both work at LDS hospital every other weekend. Two weeks ago, we were waiting for my monthly visitor to make her debut and see if the birth control worked. Tanner was so anxious about it, I was at work and got a call from him downstairs that he took a break and bought a pregnancy test. "Oh, ok, I'll take it when I get home." "No. I need to know. Now." "Now??" "Yes, come downstairs, I'm waiting." So I get someone to cover me and make my way downstairs. I get there and he's waiting outside the bathroom, box in hand. It's one of those one-person ones, so I take the box and head in. I turn around and there's Tanner, following me in.."I can't wait, you know me, I just need to know right away." So, feeling slightly awkward, I take the stick of wonder and head to the toilet. As I'm starting to pee, Tanner anxiously adds "make sure you keep it in your stream for 10 seconds!" I don't know why, but I found this hilarious. I couldn't stop laughing. I don't normally laugh like that while urinating. For those of you who didn't know, laughing while you pee has side effects. I had NO CONTROL of my "stream." It was all over the place. Then Tanner proceeds to stress out, "oh crap, now it's not going to work, keep it in the stream!" This makes me laugh even harder. So I'm trying to follow it, and end up peeing all over my hand, as well as the whole stick. By this point, I'm dying I'm laughing so hard. But, the test still worked, I washed my hands really well, and proved Tanner wrong about my birth control. Next time, I told him, I doing this by myself, and I'm using a cup.

Blogging Failure

So, I suck at blogging lately, once you stop, it's hard to get going again. Fullmer life is grand, Tanner just finished his finals last week, and I went back to school for summer semester. We are so excited for the summer even though it will still be busy, we are planning some fun things: Vegas for my uncle's wedding next month (Vegas temple), camping with friends in July and hopefully with family too, lots of fishing, playing tennis, and having fun. That's the E! True Hollywood Story. Exciting, eh? These are some pictures from our adventures the past month, I'll try and be better about updating!

The flowers Tanner gave me for my birthday, I love them!

Happy Easter!

LPN Graduation!! Only 7 months left to go! These are my
home girls: Me, Ashley, Rachel, and Christie (Nicole was gone)

Funny faces!

There are tons of other awesome people in our program, but for
some reason I'm lame and didn't take any pictures with them.

Our sweet little niece Noelle was finally blessed on Sunday, May 3rd.
She is so stinkin' cute!
