Favorites for today....

-Noelle's smile, she is oh so cute.

-Tanner's smell, it's so manly and wonderful. Sounds weird, but you know what I mean.

-Sleep. I can't get enough lately.

-My family. They really are the best, and I love them so much.

-Snuggling.

-The peace and the Spirit in our home. We have been good today and kept the tv off and just enjoyed the silence and talking to each other, it's been great.

-Camping. We're going in two weeks and are sooo excited!!

-Being so happy and grateful and just knowing that life is good.

Whoops..

As I recapped over the past month, I forgot one huge event-we had our 3 year anniversary! I can't believe how fast it has gone by and how much fun we have together everyday. We sang our anniversary song we made up, which for some random reason is to the tune of "The First Noel." The chorus goes as follows:

'3 years, 3 years,

3 years, 3 yeeeeeaaaaarrs,

We have been ma-harried for-or 3 years.'

Pretty good eh? The rest of the lyrics must be made up on the spot. We were both working during the week, so we waited until Saturday to do something fun and we went with our friends Mike and Bree to Strawberry for a little fishin.' The only one Tanner caught got off the hook as he pulled it out of the water, and Mike caught one but it flipped itself back into the water. It was still a fun day and nice to get out and do something fun.












He really is so good to me and makes me laugh all the time. I couldn't ask for anyone better. Happy Anniversary Tanner, I love you so much!!

Good times

Sorry for the crappy blogging this past month. A lot has been going on and I have been in a bit of a blog 'funk' if you will. So here are the major updates, or a few of them anyway. Here is the picture from Aly being home, isn't she gorgeous and amazing? It's so fun to have her home, I love it! If you aren't already married and have a best friend with a hot brother, marry him, I highly recommend it.
Tanner has put my degree to good use, I'm just glad I could contribute really. Please pretend to not see how dusty it is.

This was a really special day, we did Eric's endowment in May at the Bountiful Temple. The whole family went to the temple. Taylor is 14, so I stayed with her and we did baptisms, it was so great. It was an amazing experience and I'm so grateful we can do this wonderful work and I love my family!! We took lots of cute pictures with Noelle bug outside the temple before. Here is one of the few times you will see her running toward Tanner (he loves to tease, he that kind of uncle).

I love this little munchkin. She says my name now, but calls me "Nun." I actually got my name from my sister when she was a baby, she couldn't say Christina, so she said Nina. I didn't think that could be shortened, but I love it.
Thinking of sending this into a church magazine it's so cute.

March of Dimes

So my amazing sis-in-law Linz is walking this Saturday in the March of Dimes for babies. Her daughter, our sweet little niece, Noelle was born two months premature. It was very scary and we are so grateful she grew up so healthy and perfect because we couldn't imagine life without this adorable girl. I know many of you don't know her, but Linz is walking to raise donations for other babies that are born early and their families. My Aly is home! I know it sounds like I am in love with her, but it's because I am a little bit. She is amazing, it is so fun to see her again! I will post pictures when I am feeling less lazy (it's a big job to plug in the camera, then there's all the clicking and saving and uploading, too long!) and you will all get to see her amazingness. I'll say it again, I love that little love pigeon.

In other news, Tanner takes his MCAT two weeks from Saturday, it's cuhrayzee!

I dealt with so much poop the other day at work. Way more poop than any one human should have to be around. Mommies, I know you see a lot of poop, but it comes out of cute little bums. Not the same experience. Not at all. Speaking of poo, I made a coconut cream pie for a baby blessing last weekish, and the crust was gluten free and it wouldn't harden. Tanner and Rachel's hubs said it looked like diarrhea. As we were leaving, an old couple was dishing some up on their plate and I heard her say "What is it?? He replied in disbelief, "I don't..know." I just laughed it off, becaue the truth is, it was delicious. Truly.

My first day in my new calling as "Sacrament Chorister" (very prestigious), I didn't realize the sacrament hymn had started because I was busy whispering something to Tanner and got up late. During the same hymn, I didn't realize we had finished the hymn and the pianist had to ask me to sit down. I wasn't even embarrassed for a whole five minutes because I was still so confused about what was happening. I thought I was rocking leading that hymn, but apparently I was too into it. I think subconsciously I wanted to put in my time since I started late. Then, the last hymn I couldn't figure out out to do a 2-2 time, so I was going WAY WAY WAY too fast and looked like one of those crazy conductors on a looney tunes cartoon for about 10 seconds, until I realized "there's no way it's supposed to be like this" and stopped frantically waving my arm like a crazed lunatic and suddenly and randomly slowed to a normal speed. Hopefully I at least gave the bishopric a good laugh (I stand right in front of them). I don't feel too bad 'cause I haven't led music since seminary in high school and I always figure no one really watches the chorister. For all you music majors out there that were watching me in horror, at least it ended up being a funny story, right? After it was over, Tanner said he was too embarrassed to even watch me, he had to look down the whole time. Thanks for the support hubs.

Only 7 days left!!

Exactly one week from today, Aly will be home. For those of you who don't know, Aly and I have been best friends since high school. She set me up with her brother on a blind date, he and I got married, and now Aly and I are sisters. It's fabulous. And she has been on a mission in Madrid for 18 months and now she is coming home!! I have missed her so much, I can't describe how excited I am. Instead, I am going to post pictures to show how awesome she really is.









I really can't wait!!

Sunday Sweetness

Church yesterday was wonderful. And I only got to go to sacrament. I prayed when I woke up that the Lord would help me overcome my shortcomings. I have been having the hardest time getting in my scripture study lately and I don't know why. Then I went to church, and the talks were all about the scriptures. The last one especially touched me, it was about the Book of Mormon. How it can shape our lives and help us become our best.
Then our home teachers came and asked us about an experience where the Lord revealed something to us. And I told about my conversion and all of those feelings came back to me, the Spirit was telling me it was true. The Book of Mormon has changed my life. I love it and am a better person because of it. Then I realized that all these feelings I'd been having all day and feeling the Spirit so strongly were the answer to my prayer. The Lord gave me a witness because I asked. Anytime we sincerely go to the Lord, He is there. He will always listen, it's just that sometimes I don't do the asking. I'm so grateful that the Lord is mindful of each and every one of us. I love the gospel and I love my Savior, I'm so thankful for his love for me.
