Our Amazing Week!

So this week has been hectic, to say the least. School started this week, which is always a little stressful, especially for Tanner who takes such hard classes. Rewind back to Friday, we were just at home enjoying our day off together and we get a phone call from DATC in Kaysville asking me to start their nursing program on Monday!! So it's been a busy week, but we are so happy, I cried when it sank in that I am really in nursing school and finally all the hard work has paid off. Now it feels like our lives our moving onto the next step and we are so, so, SO grateful! The Lord really has blessed us so much. Tanner is so supportive and excited. And if Tanner decides to become a sailor, then we can make a picture just like this one, because I'll be a nurse!!
Our little Fullmer family is doing just great, people kept telling us that the first year of being married was the hardest, but this has been the best year of our lives! We were trying to go on the Eat to Live diet again, which is being a fat-free vegan for six weeks, but with nursing and not having any money and all, we're reverting back to the mac'n'cheese and ramen noodle diet. Once I'm a wicked sweet nurse, we'll be able to afford healthy food again!

Coming up soon, we're going to be an aunt and uncle, we are SO excited! Aly is leaving on her mission to Espana (Spain) which is happy and sad at the same time. And we found out this week that we got accepted to transfer to a new apartment in the cheaper ones, so we're moving end of September. That will be an interesting experience in the middle of school, but will work out. I can already tell it's going to be a crazy semester, when Tanner is talking in his sleep about the "axiom of mathematics," but we couldn't be happier little hobos! Now that we know nursing school will be done soon, we can't stop dreaming about having dozens of babies! Hopefully I can convince Tanner to write on this next time.

Summer 2008

The summer is nearly over, it has just flown by! A lot has happened, with traveling and school and everything with Eric. We are staying busy though, Tanner just finished school yesterday for the summer semester, it is such a relief, especially for Tanner cause he does all the work, but I miss him too. I just applied a couple weeks ago to Westminster's nursing program and will hear back by Thanksgiving if I got in. We're hoping and praying to get in so we can get nursing school out of the way and start on a family; we both have a really good feeling about it though.

The past month we've done lots of camping and fishing, which has been so much fun! We've gone with friends and family, of course the family one was crazier. We are trying to watch less tv, so Tanner keeps putting the tv in the closet and then getting it out to watch a movie every few days, then swearing off tv and putting it away again. I'm sure it's a good workout for his arms, not that he needs to work them out cause they're so freakin' buff already. We're probably going to be moving next month to another apartment, so we'll need them. By moving, I mean moving to another apartment building here in the village with more cinderblock walls and a different layout. The newest thing is this Tuesday we will find out if we are having a niece or a nephew, it is so exciting! We're just having lots of fun together and trying to get in as much as possible before school starts again! And f.y.i. Tanner doesn't know it yet, but he will be writing the next post, so be ready!

With the fam in Maui! This was part of the road to Hana, an amazing drive
through the rainforest, it was beautiful. Those are my little sisters, Megan(left) and Madeleine.

One Year Anniversary

So Tanner and I celebrated our one year anniversary this month. It is crazy to think that one year has gone by already, but it has been so great!! I really am married to my best friend and the best guy. He's always making me laugh and knows how to make me feel better when I need it. This past year has been the best year ever, we have so much fun together! To celebrate we actually went to Hawaii last month with my family, it was amazing. We got to snorkel and swim with cool fish and sea turtles. Tanner of course got incredibly sea sick on the boat ride out there and hurled over the side of the boat, poor guy. We hiked in a rainforest up to a great waterfall, that was my favorite part. When June 1st came around, we busted out the year-old wedding cake and sadly ate almost the whole thing! It's been a great year and I know it's only going to get better and better, I love you Tanner!
